Operating Instructions:

Below, you will find resources for the Maxima 4034 Mobile Column Lifts. Please review all resources thoroughly prior to renting the equipment. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.

Equipment Overview & Information

  • Power Supply:

    • Onboard batteries will support most users' needs, but the columns can be charged individually using a 110v power source if needed.

    • Customers are asked to return the equipment with a full charge.

  • Concrete Requirements:

    • Lifts should only be installed on level concrete floors with a minimum thickness of four inches. Concrete must have a minimum strength of 3500 psi and should be aged 30+ days prior to installation. Please consult an architect or an engineer if doubt exists as to the strength and feasibility of the floor to enable proper lift installation and operation.

  • Delivery Requirements:

    • Please ensure that a reasonable unloading location exists for a truck with a 35' trailer. For residential deliveries, we prefer to park on the road to unload when possible.

  • Lifting Capacity:

    • Each column is rated for 18,500 lbs, for a total lifting capacity of 74,000 lbs for a set of four.

  • Cross Beams:

    • Cross beams are available for lifting vehicles from the chassis. These can be useful if you need to be able to service items like the brakes, wheels, or axles.

  • Light Truck Adapters:

    • For lighter and smaller vehicles, light truck adapters may be a good choice. These allow you to use two columns from the front and rear or from the sides to lift from the frame of the vehicle. These are also perfect for bed/cab removal on pickup trucks

  • Maximum Lift Height:

    • 67" NOTE: These lift from the tires, resulting in more headroom to the chassis. (67" + vehicle ride height)

  • Things To Be Aware Of:

    • These lifts will stop at six inches from the ground, and an alarm will sound. This is normal and is simply a reminder to check that everything is clear before proceeding.
