Below, you will find resources for the Portable Car Hoist Model A & C Lifts. Please review all resources thoroughly prior to renting the equipment. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.
Equipment Overview & Information

Power Supply:

​Onboard batteries will support most users' needs, but the lift can be charged using a 110v power source if needed.​

​Lifts should only be installed on paved or well-compacted solid level ground.

Currently, all of our mobile two-post lifts are rated for 8,000lbs.

Rental Terms & Legal Stuff

Rental Duration Options:
-
24 hours, 72 hours, 7 days, or 30 days.

Rental period begins at the time of delivery and ends at the scheduled pickup. An additional charge may be assessed if the equipment is not able to be picked up at the scheduled time.

Delivery & Pickup:
-
Delivery and pickup are included within Oakland County. For addresses outside of the county, a delivery fee may be assessed.

The customer must ensure a clear, level, and accessible site for drop-off and collection.

Additional charges may apply for failed pickup or drop-off attempts due to site access or readiness.

Use Guidelines:​

Equipment must be used on a flat, stable, and hard surface that meets or exceeds manufacturer recommendations (e.g., concrete or pavement).

Do not exceed the rated capacity of the lifts.

Proper safety practices are the renter’s sole responsibility. Please see the above resources to learn more about safe use of this equipment.

Power Requirements:
-
While these lifts are battery-powered, it is advisable to have on-site power in the event the columns need to be recharged. They can be charged via standard 110v power. An additional fee may be assessed if a generator is required to remove your vehicle from the lift to retrieve the equipment.

Damage & Liability:
-
Renter assumes full responsibility for the care, operation, and safekeeping of the equipment.

Any damage during the rental period is the renter’s financial responsibility.

Security Deposit:
-
A refundable security deposit of $300 is required per rental.
-
The deposit will be returned within 3–5 business days after satisfactory inspection.

Insurance Requirements:
-
The renter is advised to carry general liability coverage.
-
Business and fleet customers may be required to provide a certificate of insurance (COI).

Training & Instructions:​

The renter is responsible for ensuring all other operators/workers are trained and understand the safe use of this equipment. Do not allow anyone who is under 18 or has not reviewed the safety information to be within 20 feet of the lift while it is in use.

Prohibited Uses:
-
No use on soft surfaces (dirt, grass, etc.) or sloped surfaces.

Do not relocate lifts once placed. Lifts are to remain at the drop-off address for the entire duration of the rental unless the renter has received written approval from us to relocate them.

Do not use in extreme weather.

Termination & Right of Retrieval:

Amerigo Equipment Rentals L.L.C. reserves the right to terminate the rental and retrieve equipment without refund if safety, misuse, or contract violations are identified.
